One Bloody Number
Who are you wearing at the moment? What brands do you prefer to buy?

I don't tend to do as much clothes shopping as I would like but I have had to get a bit for my holiday and bought quite a few St. George by Duffer t-shirts. Really like their stuff. Got a shirt by them too.

Wanted some comfy trainers for the parks (I usually just wear plimsoles or something) so bought some nice Puma's. Always preferred Puma to Nike or Adidas. Fashion wise I'd prefer Vans or Converse but not sure they are as comfy to do lots of walking in.

Need to get some comfy flip flops too. Anyone ever worn Crocs? Not the original Crocs, but Crocs flip flops? Are they as comfy as they make out?

Brands I've gone right off.... Super Dry, Jack & Jones.

Shops I've gone right off. Bank. Used to gaurentee to buy something everytime I walked in there, now it's just full of chavvy hooligan gear.

Im usually wearing either a Villa shirt or band t-shirt of some sort. Chino's or jeans and trainers. At work shirt and tie etc.

I really like Ralph Lauren. I could quite easily live out my days wearing ralph lauren polo shirts. they fit well, keep their shape and colour and wash lovely. The other clothes, namely coats, sweaters etc... I like too.

I like Paul Smith for jeans (and other clothes too). I cant be arsed to shop around and I know the jeans are going to fit well and be comfortable, and because you get so much wear out them I'm not begrudging paying 100 quid or so for a pair.

I also like North face, the stuff is comfy and good quality - and so far they've managed to stave off the chavs.

Still dont look past Marks and Sparks for pants, socks, pyjamas and thermals though.

I went Abercrombie and Fitch mad a few years ago and am still getting by on shorts and flip flops (treds???) and hoodies I've had for years.

For trainers I'm not loyal to any brand - I just go for ones I like the look of, although 9 times out of 10 it will be adidas.

Brands I used to love but have gone right off are Stone Island, Lacoste and Hugo Boss - all have gone way too Danny Dyer for my liking.

In my younger days I used to live in Flannels and Rackhams. Nowadays I just head straight for Selfridges and get in and out sharpish, or I stock up at bicester Village once or twice a year.

I recently filled two bin bags with clothes I chucked out as I'm very limited on space nowadays - just half a wardrobe for hanging and one chest of drawers. My wardrobe is now very much quality over quantity.

Most of my shirts are from Marks & Spencer (Easycare range, 3 for £27, what's not to like?), likewise 2 of my 3 suits (the other is from Greenwoods) and slacks. I bought jammies for £6.99 in Aldi the other day (see the "what do you wear in bed" thread) as well as forking out £15 for a pair of their trainers. Most of my socks come from Primark.
The thing is that clothes are, in real terms, cheaper than they've ever been.

Agree about Bank.

Got some nice Firetrap tops at the moment.

Got a bargain pair of Jack & Jones jeans, not seen many of their range but these are nice.

Still like Fred Perry and Lyle and Scott.

Agree, Puma do some lovely retro trainers, albeit I am an Adidas orginals man myself! That said, I've moved into shoes a wee bit more recently!

Also bought a few nice Jack Wills smart (ish) shirts (they are a bugger to iron though)

Got some True Religion stuff on order from one of those discount sales places, be interesting to see if they fit nicely or not!

Same here.

For me it used to be all about trainers, and it got on my nerves having to wear shoes on nights out just so you could get into places.

Now I find myself wearing shoes out of choice, in places where most of the other punters are wearing trainers. Infact I wouldnt consider wearing trainers on a night out nowadays.

Blimey Jim, sounds like you dress how I'd like to if I could afford it. Really like Paul Smith but too expensive for me at the moment. Haven't bought any Ralph Lauren for a long time. Agree they do very nice polo's but the price just puts me off these days.

My last 2 pairs of jeans have been Jack & Jones Vintage, which are more expensive than their normal ones and look really nice.... only problem is the back pockets have only lasted about 2 months before coin wear and tear has worn a hole in them. Poor quality in my opinion, so I wont be buying any more.

Criminal is a brand I like, but I only ever see it in House of Fraser and dont go there very often.

As for High Street, I like Top Shop and River Island, although I am defintiely reaching that age now where I think a lot of the stuff may be too young for me.

Two Seasons is good for t-shirts and shorts.

I have some St George by Duffer stuff. Don't have loads of brand name stuff though. Normally go clothes shopping about twice a year cos i hate it and end up spending loads of money. Normally go to Burton and Topman for my t-shirts, jumpers, hoodies, chinos and nice jeans. Got to New Look for cheapish lounge around jeans. Get all the general stuff like boxers and socks from M & S, can't go wrong there for that sort of stuff. As for footwear well i have a ridicolous amount. Got my Nursing shoes which are possibly the most ugliest yet most comfortable shoes ever. Then have a pair of brown shoes, a pair of black shoes (both slip ons). Then i have a pair of casual tan brown boots from Burton. A pair of Nike high-tops which i rarely wear. Claret & Blue adidas gazelles. Some nike running trainers. Some adidas casual trainers. Then about 4 pairs of plimsolls. I'm worse than a woman when it comes to shoes. I've actually seen some Hummel trainers from Debenhams i wanna get.

I might go clothes shopping in August actually, my birthday in August so i'm bound to have some vouchers for various places.

Folks, this is a great site. Really really great. Often have end of the line, last years etc but lets be honest, none of us are going to worry about such things are we?!

Many of the brands already mentioned here are for sale here:

Highly recommend it.

What? I have no idea what you are on about.

Fear, just been looking at this site. I was amused to see this description of one of the items on sale - Kangaroo Poo Mens 1/4 Zip Microfleece Black.
I now know the colour of the contents of Kangaroos' bowels.
Educational.

I have 3 children who are growing fast and for the majority of the last 14 years we have been living on a single wage...........Tesco and Asda can supply an awful lot of what you really need and then I supplement with other things as and when opportunity arrives and budgets allow.

Must go to that Bicester village one day, said it for a few years and still not got around to it. Or is it got round to it, yes, think the latter!

This woman likes to wear Joe Brown clothes. They have women's and men's too. If you like to dare to be different Joe Brown is for you.

Available mainly online and some is sold in catalogue's and a few in specialist shops, I love them because they different and quirky. Many pieces that would suit any age, depending on the person ofcourse. I can do bright clothes and quirky styles. Not everyone can.

Other than Joe Brown I just browse until I find what I like, though I do find most other stuff in T K Max. I love a good rummage
