The careers that ave been destroyed by this club's owners at every level......
Is Venkatesham next?
Is Venkatesham next?
As the first team increasingly underperformed in relation to increased revenue in recent seasons, and as fan protests intensified against their ownership and now former chairman Daniel Levy, the Lewises took an ever-keener eye on the management of the club.
Increasingly they did not like what they found, and it was ultimately decided that Levy should leave in September last year, just a few games into the season and days after a troubled transfer window in which they missed out on top targets like Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze.
I know who gave that briefing to the journo, and it doesn't surprise me in the slightest, if we go down the ownership/board needs to be able to deflect responsibility to everyone but themselves; much of it is true, but pleading ignorance of what they constrained management to doing is a policy issue and the ownership did that.Has anyone read the piece from Skysports?

Feels like it comes from the board.

But fair play. Levy needs a good whipping as for too long he defended the policies and the ownership.
Reports claim that Sebastian Kehl has agreed to join us as Director of Football, working alongside Lange. Subject to us not getting relegated. They can try to deflect but it's too late.
However, if we stay up and Venkatesham and de Zerbi are a good fit with each other we may now be in better shape than ever. Just need that key DoF appointment to happen.
Until tomorrow evening there isn't much sense in guessing the way forward.
Why would we keep Lange DM mate,he's one of the main Culprits that got us into this mess.Reports claim that Sebastian Kehl has agreed to join us as Director of Football, working alongside Lange. Subject to us not getting relegated.
Agreed, makes no sense. Why would we keep Lange DM mate,he's one of the main Culprits that got us into this mess.

There is no evidence that Lange is much good at anything when you are wanting best in class. With the right DoF Lange becomes a hound on the scent of whatever prey he's been directed at.
Perhaps he is good at that.

He has found his level fighting relegation.
If we keep him we won't improve.
Venkatesham needs to be kicked out of the club by 20:00 today. He’s absolutely shocking & the fact he’s taken no ownership of any of the issues we’ve experienced, shows he has zero integrity. They can try to deflect but it's too late.

No scattergun Paratici for me but I agree about Lange & venkateshamThey both need to go.
Him and Lange.
I'd have Patricia back just for the Italian connection.
Would like to see both Vinnai and Lange out of the club, but in all honesty cannot see either of them leaving.
In fact they will both take credit for avoiding relegation.
