THE TEAM WE ARE

I've just been watching SKY before the West Brum game and they interviewed Walker and Rose, which was a revelation about the players we have and the work of the manager that we have.

Maybe we are underestimating what Pochettino is and how much he's doing to the team in terms of fostering their abilities. Danny just saiid about Walker, "He inspires me, I just think he's the best defender in the League, I watch what he does and want to be as good as him". Walker then speaks up,"Well I just think the same of Danny, "I just think, if I can get up and down the park as quick as him, I'll be great". Their attitude to the manager and what he's doing with the team is very convincing, that we have a guy here who is a real inspiration and guide to doing better, constantly. It's what we have needed for so long and I'm beginning to think we have not only the manager we need but the players we need. With Wanyama, Eriksen, Kane, Lloris, Dembele, Alderweireld, Vertongen, Alli, Dier, Son, Lamela, Trippier, just look at our line ups and possible line ups!

I also think our fitness levels and cover make us one of the few teams that have almost everything.

Ok there's still work to do maybe but how many ways have we dropped off this season? Not many! And it looks like when we dropped off in the past, the manager dealt with it and we trained ourselves out of those weaknesses. I just see us getting less and less vulnerable, not least stopping getting too big for our boots and getting too confident and losing concentration.

With our fitness levels, even when we are 0-0 late in a game, we still have the energy to overpower most teams when they are getting tired.

I think we're doing so well. We don't give up on the ball, we recover it when we lose possession and all our players seek to get back possession asap. What more can you ask? Our trade mark high possession rate is proving to be a huge asset, they can't score against us if they don't have the ball. Another GREAT asset we have is our ability to mix it up and change shape, keeping teams guessing where we're coming from, brilliant want we're currently doing to West Brom.

REALLY, WHAT IS LEFT NOW FOR US TO CONQUER IN TEMS OF OUR FAILINGS?

I think we have to now become more practiced in our new standards and hope that injury levels stay low and also keep our reserves fit and equally well trained to keep all our areas of activity, EPL. FA CUP, EL, ETC, Right on track.

At last, I feel we are moving up and there's no sign of relenting.

C O M E O N Y O U S P U R S, WE CAN BE THE VERY BEST !

Since the change in formation, we are looking unbeatable. Eriksen is finally being consistent and alli has found the form of last season.

The wing backs can get forward knowing we have 3 Cb's and wanyama and dembo as a brick wall.

Its a shame we didn't go this formation sooner but hey ho, we have now and are looking great with plenty of goals. Maybe this could be the season where we win the big one...heres hoping

I agree with you regarding formation, but we have to trust that the manage felt we were not drilled enough to implement it.
Firstly it really works because we have a right sided CB that can play RB and a left sided CB that can play LB. This meant that Poch needed to be sure Wanyama would be able to replace Dier in midfield, also we were without Dembele for our earl games due to suspension. Now that Poch knows that it is almost impossible for any team to come through the middle the CB 's can play a little wider allowing FB to push on.
Then we also have to accept that Toby is crucial to this system, but due to injury he missed a good chunk of the season. For me Poch has managed it spot on, this slump that everyone keeps going on about coincide with Kane and Dembele absence. Take Costa and Hazard out of Chelski or Sanchez and Giroud out of Le Arse, or Aguero and DeBruyne out of Citeh and see how they perform.
