I'm sure that there used to be a section on the club website that gave out this type of info?
Its not there now though. Its frustrating at times not knowing what the latest on a player is but I suppose its just the modern game in not revealing too much.

If it's weeks, it's days.

If he's a doubt for the next match he is definitely starting.

And if Cooper says nothing at all then it's terrible news
