I'll start .
What does everyone think about the pedestrianisation of Norwich City centre ?
 
I'll be honest, I'm dead against it. I mean, people forget that traders need access to Dixons. They do say it'll help people in wheeeelchairs.
 
Maybe it will be a good thing for small businesses though ?
I'm thinking independent sandwich shop or perhaps somebody selling books made only from recycled toilet paper.
 
The existence of pedestrian friendly streets provides some incentive for people to walk rather than drive. A pleasant walking environment with sidewalks, weather protection, and attractive landscaping is a step toward encouraging people to choose bikes or walking over cars. In addition to environmental benefits, this yields social benefits by encouraging informal encounters a@@@@ neighbours, and health benefits from the exercise.

So I'm all for it

 
The Park and Ride system is splendid Orbs. I want to be able to shop at all my favourite retailers without motor vehicles blocking entrances and causing inconvenience. Seriously am I the only person who doesn't see the point in spending a tenner on coffees at a coffee shop when I can have one at home. If I have to go shopping, for any reason, I don't need to stop for a coffee.

I see what you mean .
I feel the urge to jump on a train right now to Norwich and have a brisk walk through the city centre.

I believe their team have just achieved promotion as well, which of course is excellent news for this fab

Dogs by a country mile .
I walk my two large labradoodles nearly every night in Thetford Forest and still haven't bumped into anyone dogging.
Bastard.
Cats are wa**ers.

You can still ride down from the library to the market and cut through the back streets.
 
I've always found cats to be sly and disloyal.

Dogs on the other hand, the complete opposite.

Sorry to hear of your lack of dogging activity Orbs.

I played two seasons for Ely strangely enough near the end of my playing days.
Winning Jewson eastern league division one by 15 points and coming runners up in the Premier the following season.
Histon finished third but took Ely's place for promotion that they turned down ( due to costs and logistics) and ended up in the Conference a few seasons later.
