The Serge Thread..

Spursex

Alert Team
I have a feeling he'll be keeping us regularly entertained - I hope for all the right reasons.

We laughed ourselves silly like little kids at his dummy last night, I could watch it again and again - it was both brilliant and risky..

He was quality considering it was his first game for us, I'm sure he will improve as well. Bargain signing

Yea, he was very good, all things considered.
I don't think anyone doubted his ability... it's whether the rest of it is worth it.

I doubt he'll ever be my favourite player.

He'll grow up with Poch and can put his indiscretions behind him - everyone is allowed a second chance., aren't they? :10: :15:

Swapping Walker and Wimmer for Aurier and Sanchez at a profit could turn out to be some of the best business this club has done.

We were talking about that last night - and one Spurs legend made the point that a couple of seasons ago that neither would have choose to come to us over who was trying to buy them.

That, perhaps more than anything else made me think we're on the edge of really establishing ourselves as a top club - finally.

still. Serve has to take a pay cut to join us. We can't rely on that kind of scenario happening too often

I have a feeling he's gonna BE my favourite player.

He has an edge. The edge.

Yes you may be right 'Gus' and I love the way we have done business, ditching a bit of a tired player for a younger more vibrant player and bringing in Sanchez as well who seemed to be strong too.

I think we ARE becoming that major club now as someone else has said.

I don't think I have ever seen a player duck under a ball like that before. Took everyone by surprise. Showed a bit of skill to get the ball away from the corner flag too.

I like him.

I was so excited to see him play last night, which is odd for a right back.

Great player - imagine the damage he will do to lesser teams

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us play him further forward on occasion and Trippier in behind..

Would be interesting to see EX. Both could swap positions through out the game with ease.

Must admit I was impressed with what I saw. He is still a gamble though he is clearly a head case but hey this team probably needed that. He turned down more money from numerous teams so he has some good traits.

He is perfect for Wembley. So he will fit in well at the new stadium as well.

He was a lot of fun to watch. He had an obvious swagger about him in a big debut game. He did some things that made me laugh and reach for the remote for a rewind. Despite his cockiness I felt more at ease defensively than Walker and Trips.

Absolutely ...after all shitsokko has had about 30 chances already...

As good as I think he is, you can tell we are going to see him get a few red cards. He dives in quite quickly. He's a force to be reckoned with though. I don't think he is as quick as Walker but he is a way better crosser and he actually has more confidence when taking people on.

That dummy was exceptionally funny.

So happy spurs replaced walker with a similar player. Trippier is a decent back up for games against the swans, watford etc, however, for games against the BD, RM, chavs etc you need top quality and serge fits the bill.
