Are we all excited about the upcoming Metaverse?

It sounds like Second Life to me, which was a game like The Sims except it was full of real people. You could get a job, buy a house, all of that boring shit.
 
It's yet another reason for people to become more detached from actual reality.

With social media already ruining the mental health of hundreds of millions world wide, especially young people, we should know better than to trust the likes of Zuckerburg. It's all about money irrespective of the impact.

Wow, that's a blast from the past, I remember playing that for around 1 day and uninstalling it.

I do love VR games though, the Batman one is brilliant but way too short. But all of the games I've played are meant to be fun for an hour or 2, not places to live in permanently.
