Hats off to Ross. To me, a slightly strange player in so far as he only ever seems to be operating at half pace and yet he is so, so efficient.

What an option to have coming off the bench. He seems to have matured so so much from his 1st stint here. Like some other have said on here, does not seem to crack under pressure any more and finds space to play out of danger. He still has the ability to drive forwards as well.

Calf injury, 2-4 weeks I think Emery said.

Looked like a calf injury to me. Got to be 2-3 weeks at the least for that.

Do we even know what's wrong with Barkley? Is it a physical injury, or is it his mental issues again?

Thought he looked decent at the start of last season but never got back properly after a couple of injuries/he was never "quick" but looked well behind the pace of the game. Hope he does come back properly fit as useful off the bench/a definite goal threat.
