Morning all.

Mrs Melon has a birthday in February otherwise it's a bit of a nothing month really. Neither here nor there I find.

In other news. Today is my first day off work sick in 7 years. Severe (clearly) lurgy. Most unlike me. Everyone else has had it in the house so I am not happy that this has been brought to me through no fault of my own. There will be repercussions!. :13:

Morning all.

Apparently, they are discontinuing the practice of 'Grid Girls' in F1 - i.e. having scantily clad women parading up and down the pit lane and the track at F1 races.

I've always found the whole thing a bit weird to begin with, so not at all bothered by this news. The Sun is not happy though.

No question of me being fit for Saturday !.

Not just the grand prix pit girls. The darts walk on girls have been stopped aswell. Bit weird really that feminism has effectively stopped some women from having a choice as to how they earn their money. These women are not forced or coerced into these jobs. And of course it's fine for women to parade in next to nothing on the cover of Vogue or the cat walk.

Whatever next. Soon they will be banning repeats of Benny Hill !
 
Yeah I agree they should be allowed to earn their dosh however they want. It's no skin off my nose, I just find it all a bit odd really, like cheerleaders and stuff. Quite why women wearing next to nothing add any kind of value to the event is beyond me.

Now this is very much like a Melon domestic situation where i have done something wrong and I'm having to guess what Mrs Melon thinks i have done wrong.

In this case i fear (see what i did there) that it might be someones special day in February yet i have declared February as waste of time month.

 
Two of our daughters, two of our grandsons and one of our daughters-in-law have birthdays this month.
So whilst it's a moot point as to whether or not it's special, there is ittle doubt that it tends to be expensive.
And, for the record, I even bought Fear an item of apparel for his fortieth, a few years back.

I find it kind of insulting. Like I'm such a moron that a girl in a bikini will immediately drain all the blood from my head.

It's 2018, if I want to see a naked woman at any time of the day or night, I can. I don't need school boy titillation.
 
Another manically busy day. This has to settle at some point.

I need to get in the gym, I worked until 8pm last night, so missed the gym session.
