The reality of where we are

Vital Football Legend

LIsten to these fans ….. These are our most loyal fans ..the ones who get up at 5am to go to places like Swansea , to get treated to dross

Now Portsmouth can only equal our points and have a far worse GD.
For others who have games in hand we would only drop one spot, so effectively worst case scenario 18th and 7 points clear if the drop zone with Leicester having a worse GD. So PC is keeping his word so far for us to survive. The catch up games this week will make it more clearer.

It really is impressive how he is getting performances and results with so many injuries and the Sargent situation

We ended the game with Gibbs on the left wing and McLean on the right with Slimane as the attacking midfielder

It sounds like Schwartau is out with a hamstring which is another massive loss - makes you realise that we should have got another winger in...any freebies?

Forson will be back, but again not a winger and is so lightweight, but I can see PC being able to get performances out of him

It’s amazing to see the improvement of some players under the new manager . Makes me wonder what was going on at NC before his arrival

Its our new Manager doing his and the useless Crapper's job too.
To be fair to Knapper, it looks like he’s been doing his job. His role is to give the manager the tools to work with, and a lot of his signings are doing exactly that. He still deserves criticism for the likes of Jurásek, Schlupp and others, as well as for hiring Manning in the first place. But credit where it’s due, at the moment, more of his signings look like hits than misses.

As for the turnaround, it feels like a million years ago that Manning was here and things were getting truly toxic. If we can finally get on top of the injuries, we’ll be in a really good place to build on this squad.

Crapper has not performed and should have been fired ages ago.
I do not forgive him and feel if we need to progress, a stronger and more vocal leader is required.

Thought I might try and bolster us up!!
So heres the current dropped points form of the teams over the last 6 games

8 Coventry
5 Middlesboro
8 Millwall
8 Ipswich
7 Hull
7 Wrexham
4 Birmingham
8 Derby
12 Watford
13 Preston
4 Southampton
11 Bristol
11 QPR
5 Sheff Utd
6 Swansea
15 Stoke
10 Charlton
6 Norwich
8 Portsmouth
8 Blackburn
15 WBA
16 Leicester
13 Oxford
18 Sheff Weds

So form list (bold we are still to play) is
4 Birmingham, Southampton
5 Middlesboro, Sheff Utd
6 Swansea, Norwich
7 Hull, Wrexham
8 Coventry, Millwall, Ipswich, Derby, Portsmouth, Blackburn
Then the rest all double figures

We had a setback with Brum but on current form on track to climb the table.

So the run in starts Friday.

7 matches to go.

Here's the current bookings situation.

Currently, after 37th game, we've played 39, its a maximum of 15 bookings - if reached then its an automatic 3 match ban.

Fisher 9
Matteson 8
Darling 7

Closest others are on 4.

So Fisher and Matteson at risk, Darling safe, red cards excluded.

Yellow card bookings do NOT carry over to the next season, they are expunged.

Suspensions DO Carry over, so potentially 3 match bans could affect Fisher and Matteson next season if their final 15th booking is in the last 46th match.

Just found an article about AI predicting the Champ champions until 2050.

This must be the most ridiculous article ever written. To be effectively accurate it should / must take into account promotions and relegations which it doesnt, seems to be the residuals of this season spread over decades, with City winning the title in 29/30, though they may do it before that!!!!!!!

Chucking a bingo ball on a roulette table would be likely be just as intermidedly in-accurate

Boy, I know its off season but dredging the article barrow?
