The Premier League 2025-26 Thread

It's better if we concentrate on our team, we need to win at least another two or three games before we judge others.
The next two homes are going to be crucial for all four teams involved ( W Ham, Spurs us and Leeds).
Even after these two games with five games left one of these teams could be cut adrift and another almost safe ( W Ham loosing both and Leeds winning both will settle Leeds nerves).

Any team capable of winning 2 in a row at any stage as well

One good game gives momentum for another

A win v Villa for 2 in a row would almost see us over the line. Carry a win here into Burnley, and you'd hope we'd finally then put one of these teams to bed. Can't stress enough how important these next 2 home games are. 2 wins and we are virtually done with 5 games left. (I still think we need 41/42 to be 100% sure)

I'm a closeted Wolves fan for their next three matches.

You would certainly think so but I will only be happy when we are mathematically safe.

Would be pretty mad if all of

West Ham,
Leeds,
Spurs
And us

All start picking up better than average points at the same time

But it is that worry that any could put a couple of wins together at any stage

Even last 2 games

Not really a bad result possible tonight I think

Obviously I would prefer Palace to take points as that helps us out

But even a West Ham win has it's positives - it maroons Spurs, massively increasing their anxiety and the pressure on them at Molineux next week

Most of our squad has experience of battling relegation. Will be interesting to see how Spurs players cope with it

Would still want a Palace win to keep them as anxious as Spurs. Our own win on Friday would really send panic to both if we can pull it off

Palace to win. No contest.
Two teams more than a win behind us? Luvly.

West Ham the better team and playing well. Hopefully Glasner subs Johnno for Sarr, and Mateta for that proven PL striker who would have saved us from relegation already, Strand Larsen

I feel the same

Kind of think West Ham will pick up more points than us without Europa Games disrupting them

Them winning by a single goal tonight would really demotivate Spurs as you say and pile more pressure on

West Ham should be ahead since ive been watching

An undeserved winner from Palace would set the nerves racing for West Ham very nicely as well though and has to be Plan A for us

Worth saying that our goal difference advantage v West Ham is very likely worth an extra point

So effectively we could be 5 points clear of both Spurs and West Ham if Palace could win

Looks very unlikely though

West Ham will be fine this season I feel and Nuno will have them doing well if they stay up.

It's between us and Spurs I think.

They currently ( half time) have the same XG......
