Whilst I was optimistic about spurs being down there, they have the following players to return for the run in:

Kudus
Kulusevski
Porro
Romero
Danso
Udogie
Bentancur
Bergvall
Davies

That’s significant quality to help get them some points

Need to stick something in the training ground water so that it stays this way until after 22 Mar.
 
Although most neutrals would probably love to see Spurs drop (even though most hate us now too) i doubt they will be in the mix with a few games to go . Looks like a shit fest between us and the Hammers. They'll score more goals than us to get themselves out of the crap.
 
Could do with Dyche stringing them along then saying no last minute

(Sadly he wouldnt do that. Hes got professional standards and ethics despite all the shite that gets thrown his way)

In fairness to his staff he could earn them all an absolute fortune for less than 2 months work

He will back himself for big bonus for keeping them up. People call it arrogance but hes been around EPL for 10 plus years (350 plus games) and knows basic simple stuff can deliver immediate results

Spurs players would be working harder than ours for next 2 months. And could complain about it in the summer

Spurs fans will be happy with him shaking things up thats for sure

If Dyche cant keep them up nobody can IMO

My 2 concerns for us are Dyche or Harry

Others would likely need longer to make an impact albeit might be better long term appointments

I had assumed Poch was already lined up for next season but maybe not based on other names mentioned who arent short term firefighters

Even Tudor had me worried just before we played them tbf. We really took the wind from their sails last weekend. We 100% caused this sacking.

Barely seems like Tudors been there. But he lasted 44 days. Exact same as BC at Leeds.

5 days more than Ange with us.

I guess Ange as a short term option might be a worry as well. The spurs fans would back him and he adds some spark and energy and maybe hes lucky for them

All 3 of those move pressure from the players to the manager and all 3 managers have big enough shoulders to welcome that pressure

No because i always show loyalty and backing as much as possible to the man currently in the job Will

Im fully behind Perreira now. Like his character and am desperate for him to be a success

Definitely wouldnt want more disruption at this stage. Especially after 3 decent results in a row. I count the Fulham draw as a decent result myself. Ive seen us do far worse against them.

And wr have some momentum. Which is huge right now. Spurs trying once again to create some.

100 per cent I believe Dyche delivers at least as good results as Perreira though hence i wouldnt want him at Spurs. And didnt want him sacked.

And had we kept Dyche and Perreira gone to Spurs I would have been confident.

Some of the other names might deliver longer term for Spurs but not immediate bounce

Dyche, Ange or Harry the 3 best options for short term bounce I think.

Not so worried about the other names for short term bounce and long term at Spurs i dont give a fook

De Zerbi doesnt want to start til next season apparently

But Dyche wants 18 month contract rather than short term. (Thats a very polite way of saying - you will need to pay me 10 times the wages you might want if I am to be just a 2 month stop gap)

Can't fault Dyche. If he doesn't want to do it, this is his excuse. If he does want to do it, he gets a massive contract.

But then you can also look at it as though he isn't as sure in his ability as he makes out and can't convince them to take the plunge this season and keep him on next year IF he's a success.
 
Surprised Dyche wouldn’t just demand a fat bonus and taking it as it’s a win win - he’s said himself he’s happy to retire now. If he keeps them up, he’s the brilliant firefighter many on here claim he is…. If he doesn’t, he’ll say the clubs a mess and there was nothing he could have done - we all know he’s good at protecting himself from criticism.

So re Forest - in his shoes, you’d just stay quiet and carry the blame for the entire catalogue of mistakes made by others at the club over the last nine months?

Football owners and fans always look for the easiest guy to blame. Any manager has every right to point out what he inherited rather than let it all be blamed on himself. He had to work with new players you were the first to say werent good enough. Hes not protecting himself with us hes just refused to become the latest scapegoat at our club.

He said in the interview - he thought we were on track, not brilliant and wanted to do better.

Fair enough IMO

I agree. Dyche will take the job but it won’t be on a 7 game basis. 14 month deal so Spurs would have to pay him to get Poch / De Zerbi

I’m not convinced he’d keep them up personally
