Sunderland showing just how effective they are this season tbf

Good luck to them!

Their fans must be so delighted

Once again shows what you can do with pragmatic football

Theyve just won at Chelsea with 31 per cent possession
Very effective, yes- but also very lucky.

A bit like us in our first season. We got a lot of luck that season and more referee decisions than we've ever had since.

Sunderland fans admit that they have had a hell of a lot of referee decisions

But we were in and around relegation all season Pope

17 points from 9 games!!

They are SECOND in the league

Theres a lot more to this than luck

Incredible start

They have had a lot of luck in games.

The referee should have 100% disallowed their goal against us, and should never have given the free kick.

The decisions would not have been the same the other way around.

I am not taking away from their effectiveness. They are keeping themselves in games and that is then allowing the luck they have had to maximise.

And they have won games without luck as well.

You don't get 17 from 9 just by being lucky, I am just pointing out that they have had a fair bit of luck and referee decisions

Anyway, the table looks fucking awful.

Thank goodness Fulham lost to stay within distance, but we still can't go above them tomorrow.

2 points behind Burnley, who have an away win at Wolves possible tomorrow. While we have our bogey team.

Burnley have played a lot of winnable games. In their next six or so they play a lot of those clubs that are struggling. They need to be clear of bottom three by early Dec or they could be on a death spin after.

We normally get a draw at their matchbox ground.

Until we win a couple of games on the bounce, don't even want to look at the table.
Probably I will start looking at the table again, late in November.

Because he cost them an absolute fortune

And at 18 he has made two sub appearances and just got his first goal, a consolation in injury time
Ok thanks, all I saw was a young lad scoring shortly after he came on, didn't realise it might not be cost effective. Rashford being the obvious example of how it doesn't always work out.

Amazing result for Super Brentford vs Mighty Liverpool.

Hats off to Andrews and his team.

10/10.

Awesome stuff.

Hopefully the A block will park the moronic in your head chant when Arne and his boys come to visit, given Mega Liverpool are getting beat by everyone!
