You don't have to.

Plenty of other ways to get points.

But if you do like watching the women's game already, you get points for that rather than having to do whatever the other routes are on top of that.

Trust me, the sort of people who are regularly going to these women's games are people who would be a very positive addition to the men's crowd

Controversial I know, but if this continued delay with developing 3 sides of the stadium (which is needed) continues, bin it, and move elsewhere with an innovative architect which can retain the atmosphere we have. We need it, the clubs and fans deserve it.

Totally agree. Does feel like we are close. Is a difficult site with multiple parties but yeah, we need to crack on. We need to build revenue.

Sorry to be a bit dogged in my rebuttal of this idea but January was completely irrelevant in the end. We fucked up to the tune of 1 single result. A margin so narrow, it could have been achieved with what we had. Arguably should have been achieved.

The flip side of the argument being that we needed only a tiny bit of extra reinforcement to make it a reality.
We will never know.
 
Many are still regretting we didn’t reinforce in January like Villa did. The failure to get CL is put down to this one action, despite Villa also failing.

On the BBC website is the financial spend of PL teams. Chelsea show a £-120m but that is because they gained £200m from sale of women’s team. Most teams show around £10m £35m overspend, within the PSR limits. Four teams in positive, including Chelsea and Forest. Man Utd, as expected, are showing £135m overspend. The other outlier is Villa. £120m overspending.

Forest will be able to build, in a considered, planned way. Villa will not. They will probably have to sell someone like Ramsay. Is this really what fans wanted? We could have been saddled with an expensive Harry Arter.

Its a silly narrative and I don't understand why people have bought into it. Villa showing the flip side. We kept all our best players and didn't waste any money. Despite fucking up at every opportunity, we still took it to the last day.

The right signing probably could have made a difference but we couldn't find him and did the next best thing by not wasting any money.

Had we drawn with Everton we would only have actually needed an extra point from any of those other 3 games to finish above Newcastle and Villa. Wouldn't have needed a win

I don't actually think anyone on here wanted that at all. I think the club at one point seemed to be leaning to that demand. Can't remember anyone on here wanting to spend that amount on any keeper, unless you can remember some specific people who championed that?

It’s worse. No other women’s team has got close to £50m. We are talking the team here not the ground, training pitch etc. EM bought Forest for £50m for the whole kit and caboodle. They got such a good price because they sold them to themselves.

Yes. A fiddle.
