So, we are going to be in the 24/25 Premier League, despite the best efforts of the Premier League.

Going to be interesting

New Liverpool manager, hopefully a funny collapse there.

Brighton will need to pull off a great manager appointment again.

Chelsea looking good again.

Brentford looking shit. Saint Toney has done so badly they may not even be able to sell him for top dollar

Bournemouth will surely have to actually sell a player to comply with the rules given all their spending

We get a mild derbyish with Leicester again who may have a deduction of their own

So, who do we want to join us from the Playoffs?

I would prefer So'ton, because well Leeds are insufferable as are their fanbase.

Bet it was a nice feeling being able to start this thread after all the crap we've had to put up with this season
Not going to lie, definitely was.

Very happy to put this season to end, far less enjoyable than last season even though we played far better far more often.

Can't actually believe we are going to be in the top flight for a third season.

I look back on the mid 90s as these halcyon days just before I started going regularly when we were the sort of club that could actually have three consecutive seasons at this level.

Now we've done that (at least) again. Not as successfully as last time obviously, but it's still a huge achievement. Not many teams that come up with a one off miracle season like us stay up. Let alone via the playoffs.

Standing there at Wembley I 100% expected to last one season, get battered every week and come straight back down. I was fine with that.

It's a hell of an achievement to actually establish ourselves at this level.

We have the chance to push on now. £120m allowable losses from July on a par with everyone else.

Loads of expensive contracts ending with players we don't use.

Exciting young attacking unit.

Our main striker might actually play half a season rather than a quarter of it

Behaviour of the PL and PGMOL has soured it for me but the football at this level is absolutely fucking stellar. You see some terrific games- last Saturday was one of them. Games can be so entertaining and some of the goals we are seeing are so far ahead of what we used to see.

It's great to be playing these huge teams and seeing these top class players in front of me.

And I never, ever thought I would ever see a player like Callum Hudson-Odoi wearing the Forest badge

Disappointed at suddenly not being able to go to the WFCG because lots of other people suddenly want to go too, but to be fair I've been able to watch quite a few games on Sky/Now TV (and a couple for free via BT Sports or TNT or whoever they are now). Also had two Legends Lounge experiences (both 3-2 defeats, not like Forest that!)

Poor season but signs of good flowing football here and there, especially since Nuno arrived. Commanding CB needed unless Boly can roll back the years and avoid injury, doubts about midfield and need at least one striker to stay fit for half a season or more.

Keep Murillo, keep MGW or sell at a premium, and we already have the basis of a good premiership squad. Need homegrown players to break through from the junior sides.

I've lived through so many ups & downs of Forest's fortunes Pope starting with FA cup in 1959 a few seasons of mediocrity to the brilliant team of 66/67, more mediocrity then the years of Sir Brain etc until today.
I am convinced we have the nucleus of a very decent side & can look forward with a degree of positivity as I believe we can now go on & really establish ourselves in Prem. for some time to come, yes we need a player or two in key positions but the basis is there

All I ask of next season is that we finally and comfortably start to beat the so called lesser teams and avoid another relegation battle.
In an easier league we actually ended up going backwards so for me I just want us to improve by ten points on this season. We have the nucleus of a side that should be more than capable of that feat.

Be interesting to see whether Nuno is our manager next season.

As for who I want to see in the league with us, it has to be Southampton. Far less offensive as a club and far less offensive fans.

We play and set up and do ok against the bigger teams (when we play and set up like a lesser team against them)

We actually look better most of the time and like we compete

I think we cause our own problems by then changing the set up and approach against lesser teams and somehow thinking we need to dominate them.

We don't we just need to beat them all

1-0 would be fine

Saints manager is a modern day coach of the highest order; he'd have them mid-table no problem.

With that in mind, also, Leeds are a proper side, and proper sides have proper dickhead fans.
Who gives a flying fook about Southampton; south coast nobodies.

Think of the derbies next season: Bin Dippers, Yam-yams and Dirty Leeds.
Games with proper bite and rivalry.

Who do you think would be best to create such a mindset, and would Murillo work in this kind of setup?

Dyche, maybe and No?

Next season for us. Battling for a 12(ish) finish which would be the equivalent of a push for Europe in days gone by. Get that HORRIBLE main stand GONE and that will do nicely thank you very much.

I'd take 14th/15th without ever really looking to be in bother. Better game management and a much improved defence. One clean sheet in 2024 isn't great, it's clear where the team needs work.

when we were in the championship - we had around 200k followers on facebook.

we now currently have 984k followers.

this will have a big effect on a generation of supporters. the money hopefully will help us build the club. people still talk about stone and Woan - not many football fans outside of the club can name too many that followed those after because we were in the doldrums.

take stock and be grateful. thank you Mr.Marinakis and Nuno for keeping us up.

Wouldn It just Pope I always think it is an advantage as well, early opportunity to get points on the board at the beginning & handy at the end if you still need something

Plenty to look forward to next season.
Much better football and much more entertainment - without getting the results - this season than last.
Tighten up at the back, a fair deal from VAR & the refs, a couple of astute signings and we can look forward with confidence next season to mid-table mediocrity!

Dirty Leeds to come up for me - don’t like them one bit - but like us they are a proper football club.

Last thought - I honestly am not sure whether I want Derby to get relegated or promoted - in some ways it would be good to have EPL derbies against them.
I can’t believe I wrote that last bit
