The Pre-season thread

Anyone know when the boys are due back in training? Usually around the end of June isn't it, so maybe in the next couple of days?

 
Full list of pre-season games -

Telford (a) - 12th July
Kidderminster (a) - 12th July
Shrewsbury (a) - July 15th
Walsall (a) - July 18th
Cup of Traditions tournament in Germany - July 23rd
Vitesse Arnhem (a) - July 25th
Watford (h) - July 29th
 
I have my Walsall tickets , but not seen any Kidderminster or Shrewsbury tickets on sales yet.

I think they are back next Monday
 
That's my Shrewsbury tickets bought.

Looking forward to that. Got to wait until my bills are paid to see if I can afford Walsall now
 
The only game I'm tempted by is Vitesse Arnhem but I'm in Paris for U2 that night.
Other than that it's a pretty uninspiring pre season line up
 
I am going to Walsall aqnd SShrewsbury at the moment . Want to go to the Kidderminster game as well.

I am sure you will get over it ..... way way back in the seventies I saw Villa play NEC in a pre season friendly

Brilliant day. Got in for nothing, Sun shining and we hammered the best team in Italy. It was also good to see Reo Coker squaring up to Oliver Dacourt despite Reo being about a foot shorter than him.

Seem s like light years ago.

Now our marquee game is Watford !! DaFuq !!
 
Players in Portugal for some warm weather training.... never really see the point in that. Get them used to playing in the blistering heat, so they can come home and play 90% of the season in the pissing rain.

Probably get some photos of them all looking over weight today.
 
Yes they were back in a Bodymoor on Saturday for all the fitness tests , then out to Portugal today for 10 days of fitness work.

Going to be tough I hope.
