I voted the manager. The players aren't blameless that's for sure. But as I've said before, I definitely think that a different manager with a more simple playstyle who doesn't specialise in tinkering and focuses on getting the best of his own players rather than worrying about shite opposition like Cambridge would have more points on the board.
Paul Cook would have this squad at least 10 points better off, I'm certain of it.

I agree with this ... but Paul Cook had far more experience. Who's to say that as Maloney gains that experience, he won't in future be in a position where he'd have got 20 points more from these players?

Shaun Maloney and Paul Cook are chalk and cheese in terms of managerial styles and always will be no matter how much longer Maloney spends in management. And you know it!

Again, I agree ... though I'm not sure that "styles" has anything to do with it. I agreed with your first post due to the difference in experience. That doesn't mean that Maloney couldn't perform better in years to come with similar experience to Cook.

They are both equally responsible.
Both are inexperienced and still in the process of learning their trade.
I will be more likely to put the blame at the feet of the manager next season if and when he has a team of players that he has been able to assemble without the restrictions from the EFL.

Sorry mate, but I'm not voting for one or the other ... that's just daft.
The manager has undoubtedly made mistakes, but it's not cos of his tactics that players make cock-ups. The players absolutely shoulder a significant proportion of the blame for not performing against the poorer teams.
I suppose the buck stops with the manager, but looking at the league position, it's senseless actually talking about a buck in the first place !

I voted manager purely due to the number of times hes made the wrong team selection, in form players benched, man out of position etc or had to make triple half time changes. Yes the players are the ones out there playing shite but the manager picks which ones go out there in the first place.

With respect to Shaun Maloney, and I’d love to see him have an excellent managerial career, Paul Cook is currently on four league titles and that’s not including any of his feats in Ireland. If Shaun Maloney betters that, I’ll eat my hat if I was wearing one.

Watching today finally convinced me that Shaun is not the man to take us forward. That was a pretty strong team we had out against arguably the poorest opponents I've seen all season and we were well beaten. We stroll about the pitch at snails pace, fail to get any momentum into our play, and look totally unmotivated. If it was an occasional trait ok but it's not and the manager isn't able or capable it seems of rectifying it, Nobody has wanted him to succeed more than me but if I was Mr Danson I would sack him tonight.

For the 3rd time, I'm not comparing the two.
Just saying that experience is the reason why we both believe that Cook would do better. Who knows how Maloney might do in future?

I do blame the players who dont give 100% but the managers job is to get the best out of his players and he has failed to do that
