THE only thing we need to know right now

Was it the correct decision to name the West Bridgford stand, The John Robertson Stand?

I’ll fight @Pope John XXIII corner to the death and call you all c***s if he admits it was right to sack Dyche and appoint VP and that VP’s a better manager. Fuck it, it’s a Sunday of carnage on here!
Ok

Dyche was on course to achieve around 42 points at 1.2 per game.

We ended up on 44 points.

So...it possibly didn't make all that much difference

But I'd feel the same way about Dyche staying on this summer as I do Pereira. Go out and hire the best manager available and willing

Can’t fucking believe your issue is with the John Robertson Stand, chap

And we all know that the 'course' stays the same. You've only got to ask Kevin Keegan that.

It's not an issue, I just dont agree with it. It's not like I am writing angry letters to the club or anything

But you rename a stand, that is forever and you are saying to all fans that there will never be anyone more important than three people from that era.

But I didn't agree with the PT stand either to be honest and probably agree with that one even less than the JR stand.

This is a club that needs to spend more time looking after, respecting and catering for it's younger fans and less time pandering to the nostalgia of just one generation.

As for Dyche, it felt like a third sacking of the season was unnecessary and the final points suggest it didn't make all that much difference. Maybe Dyche wouldn't have gotten some points that VP did, but maybe he would have done better. Maybe we go out of Europe earlier and do better run the league.

Who knows.

All that matters is we did survive and got at least to the semi final. The final outcome did work out with the decisions made

It's a well-known fact that ALL clubs pick up points in a linear fashion, and the "course", as it were, is in no way impacted by players being injured, players losing form, teams being on the beach or any of the numerous VAR conspiracies.
Obviously, none of us will ever know, but I don't see how we'd have survived this season with Dyche.

I agree with Pope. We should have called it the Levi Colwill stand or the Samba Saves stand. Hero’s of our promotion season.
