For this match, I'd definately put 3 or 4 youngsters into the team. Obviously this will not happen, but hey-ho.

If this did happen, it would a) give those youngsters some first team experience and b) probably stop Newcastle from winning the Championship championship.

Avfc thank you all for the great home and away support this season. Two players in particular would like to show gratitude. Gabriel agbonlahor and micah richards think it only right and proper that after taking £100,000 a week between them for God knows how long you should all be treated to a bottle of shit beer that cost £1 a pop at any local supermarket. They have put £30,000 in the pot for your pleasure , about 2 1/2 days pay.
 
It just beggars belief that hard nosed businessmen continue to allow resources to be drained at such an alarming and completely unproductive rate, the time to cut the losses passed long ago.

32000 crowd , 10000 empty seats , possible loss of £200000+

You know what, they are just so short sighted, they don't seem to understand the impact a near full house could have [but then it wouldn't actually change the tactics or even the mentality, and almost certainly not the ball possession], they think £200k, just peanuts that we give each week to people we employ for no good reason.

When I first heard about the offer, I just assumed there was a shit-load of Heineken left over that was short-dated, so they wanted to get rid before the summer :19:
 
Given the standard of football dished out to you regular attendees throughout the season I reckon a free bar wouldn't have been out of place :8: :7:
 
Apparently a soft drink doesn't include tea , which is normally my choice of drink.

I find that incredibly teaist.
 
I think that I am going to enjoy the close season better than the last nine months.
Football wise, that is.
I'm otherwise quite a happy chappie.
 
Get you in before 11:15 for your drink, you have one and of course you will want another, then it's not really free at all. I won't be getting the train to the ground until 11:15 so I'll pass, never in that early.
 
I am not averse to a drink, it has to be said, but not normally before 11.15 in the morning.

Unless I'm on holiday, then normal rules don't apply for some reason :8:
 
Just a heads up this game is being shown on beinsports 13 in the Middle East and Beinsports 9 in the USA im sure streaming links will appear nearer to kick off

I did scan something about Brighton being disappointed with 3k tickets, I'm a little bit disappointed in the club for not giving them the North Stand upper to be honest. They're a great club, good fans who we had good fun with on the way down to sea side at the station back whenever it was.

If we think we can sell out then I get it, but if we only get 35k then I'd be disappointed as an away club about to win the league against a team with nothing to play for.

We should let them buy the extra 5k tickets at £30 a pop and make ourselves an extra £180k (or half of that if it's still split) surely
