The not tattoo thread

Ok so I've generally decide that I'm not going to get a tattoo despite some of the brilliant art work and the fact that it would be a good opportunity to show that I'm 'ard as nails by not even flinching during the, apparently, considerable pain endured whilst the tattooist is practising his art.

So, having firmly established that I'm not getting a tattoo I'm turning to my fellow Vital Villans to help me decide where I should not go to be tattooed and what design I should not have. To put you on the right tracks, I'm an extremely masculine, naturally dark haired, olive skinned, fairly hirsute man in my mid 40s. I have a somewhat greying goatee and shave my head completely bald. I'm naturally broad shouldered but also somewhat broad bellied these days. I have decided that the place to not be tattooed is my right arm between shoulder and elbow.

So come on, what design should I not get and where should I not get it done? Serious suggestions discouraged!


 
Simple one this. The vast majority of people I'd imagine are born with skin as it was meant to be so why deface it?

It's just like if you were meant to smoke, you'd be born with a chimney on your head......


 
Excellent suggestion JPA, I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be following your advice on this by not getting this done.

No, I agree, the tattoo is definitely one I should not get so once again, an excellent suggestion, however, I find myself strangely drawn to this one, I can't quite put my finger on why though. :17:


 
My I suggest you dont have a tattoo over the existing tattoo you dont have.

Just a thought.
