The Names of Beer

local Saltaire Brewery has renamed its excellent Saltaire Blonde pale ale Bantam Blonde for the Cup

tons of great named beer over here 80, I had a pint of Mary Jane recently, or did I smoke a lager I forget now
 
Tons of great beer full stop.

Our micro brewers are just starting to take off here. We have had a few in the past make it but Molson's and Labatt's have purchased most and the big American Breweries have started to buy our "big" canadian breweries.
 
If anything we have too many now - one bar I go into has at least 4 tap beers along with great bottled stuff

trouble is they change all 4 off them EVERY OTHER DAY so you cant keep up! Often pop in for a swift one Thurs/fri/sat when I pick up Mrs ST2 frm work and not ONCE have I been able to get the same pint the next day.

Independents are the best, same goes for non affiliated rums, my son is an Ambassador (?) for a really good rum company along with his restaurant/bar management job in London

Been to a beer festival recently.........I had a go on the Bishops Finger, took on the Village Idiot, slurped the Fox's Nob and fired into Old Rosie.
