The Marcus Rashford Thread

Does anyone have any concrete information on the hamstring injury at the end of the season? Looks like his move to Barca is a pipe dream. You would have thought he would take the opportunity in a World Cup year to play for the mighty Villa.

He needs to just get on a show everybody what a good player he is. The Rashford i remember was one of the best players i have seen but i really wouldn't want him here now and i think other clubs are thinking the same.

Why?

We have a German muppet in charge who thinks 65 year old Henderson is the answer to midfield along with retards he managed at Chelsea.

Rashford is boyhood, he'd have dreamt of being a one club success.

We can't offer the wage, we've had one year of Champions League, face facts, we are better than Crystal Palace right now. Take the Villa blinkers off, stop reading BS about Barcelona and his intentions given the Old Trafford machine is in overdrive because Scruffy Jim wants property to sell.

And mate, don't end a question that proposes him jumping at the chance to play for us when you preface it by intimating he was faking an injury to not play for us.

I was not intimating he was faking. Merely suggesting that his team were pushing that narrative. Just want him to man up and play for a proper team.

I really don't get this fake injury shite people seem to be pushing at the moment. Even if he had no intention of joining us permanently he's not going to deliberately miss an FA Cup Semi final he'd have probably started in then miss an international call he'd have certainly got.

People need to stop trusting the Man Utd hype machine that is the UK media.

I think it’s appalling the way he has been treated in the media. As Manure have chosen to pay him 300k per week. Alex Crook on Talkshyte literally hates him.

The best way for Marcus Rashford to answer people is to just do his talking on the pitch

It's how it read as the question mate. Why dispute the injury?

If you meant it as Utd (as I referenced the Old Trafford machine) just state it. But the two are betwixed, it can't be both.

And I don't see why he needs to man up either?

And yes, I may be in this mood, but what is a proper team?

Polesworth Swifts are a proper team. As are Dulwich Hamlet.

It's media bollocks. Just move on and take that from someone who worked in media bollocks.

I just think he should join us.
Why?. Why aren't you considering our financial situation.
He would be a using of alot money we just haven't got.

It's not so easy i think fans should start grasping the reality of our situation.

We aren't in summer 2018 realms obviously but need to cut cloth accordingly because of the way of the financial football world now and our failure to get CL for the second season running.

If he weighed in all that gold he wears around his neck when out, he could easily afford to take a pay cut and move on. Manure signing Calvert-Lewis so he needs to move on sharpish. He will never get a game again with that classy player joining the ranks.

Mike the Injury was one of those, Hamstring injuries that take 6 weeks to fix, yet nobody could tell us if he's playing the last few games, it was very hit or miss. Yet despite it being so bad that he couldn't even make the bench against Palace, he was out on the town at the boxing on the night. Shouldn't he have been on.
crutches or resting up?
Seems a strange injury to me. Yes, I'm a cynical person, but clubs do lie about injuries to players. Just as they never mentioned his injury until after ko when everyone was going " What's happened to Rashford "
A hamstring is 6 weeks minimum, even these days or its a tweak but we had no cast iron, he'll be out for the rest of the season from the club.

Just as we get bullshit from the media, we also get some bullshit from clubs from time to time. Our beloved Villa never feed us bull, though.

I heard Watkins said he wouldn’t play for the club again if Rashford was picked ahead of him so the club agreed never to play Rashford again :fish:
