The Manchester City story is worse than The Great Train Robbery

"You wouldn’t see it in the Phoenix Park – Man City are a disgrace"

Eamon Dunphy, arch rag, appears to lost the plot big time (again). Seemingly failing to notice the awful dross being served up at the Theatre of Neverending Nightmares he has opted to have a pop at the Blues.

He changes his mind like the weather Skoorb, he's stuck the boot into them plenty of times this season too.

He's your stereotypical gutter hack, the only written press that will employ him is the Irish Daily Star, that tells you all you need to know really.

By the by, I thought The Great Train Robbery made for an excellent story.

And there's a lot worse goes on in the Phoenix Park but since this is a family friendly forum it's probably best we don't get into that.

He has found his natural home then.

He does seem to suffer from selective memory loss and come out with the most awful drivel.

Just thought I'd liven things up in a dull grey Tuesday morning!

The comments at the bottom of the article confirm this.

Didn't he used to play for Milwall when they were rubbish?

Yes, and I suppose it depends on your viewpoint. Sure that Danny Baker on one of his recent shows mentioned that Dunphy was part of their team that went 50 odd games at home unbeaten in the 60s, a then record.

He started off as a youth player in M16.
