Those were the days!

I got to agree, we can beat PSG, not gonna be easy but they are beatable.... they are not Real or Barca, so I fancy us,

PSG are nothing special

----

I hate being negative but if we were nothing special at the moment it would be an improvement.

It's not so much the injuries that worry me, it's the complete malaise that seems to have infused the entire team.

We are NOT in good form, and I can't see us going any further unless something drastic changes.

The team needs a good kick up the arse, and Pellegrini needs to sort his tactics and/or team selection

Cheers Kippax I remember that game well. A terrible nil niller. I took my Dad along and he spent most of the game going more and more mental at Jo!!!

Fifth is spot on.

We can no longer keep buying into our players reputations ahead of big games the way the club media machine and team management is. Blanc like so many other gaffers this season is warning against what City could do - that we haven't done against any top top sides all season.

It isnt just Pellegrini's legacy with his tourettes midfield tactics that is being ruined, so are the players who are NOT competing as a unit or fighting and haven't done all season.

We are reliant upon individual brilliance but it has dried up with the goals. I don't fancy us against anyone and regardless of PSGs league being reduced to a farce by their superiority they can steamroller sides and with a player up front who would have put the fear of Christ into our underperformers were he with us, if City start at Paris the way they have been plodding we will get thrashed, and I mean proper thrashed.

Btw. Much ado about City's ticket pricing. PSG outside of season tickets are only selling "packs" for the match at the Parc which I understand sold out rapidly.

In other words if I had won the ticket race I would have paid at least 240€ for my seat and be locked into two extra home matches against cannon fodder.

My girls were clamouring to go but looks like I have dodged a 1000€ night out!

I will be in the city that night though to say hello to our travelling army!

I couldn't agree more but i think it is way too late.

.

I thought it was just me CT, there speed and accuracy has gone from the game, There has been loads of missed placed passed over hit passes poor crosses and we are just lounging bout when we get the ball allowing them to get back and defend, we are defo not in a good place.

Agreed. Nothing is going to change until Pellegrini is out the door.

Really sad way for him to leave, but he's clearly given up - and so have the team. Wonder if the likes of Yaya will be so keen to stay if we end up in the Europa next season? Very much doubt it, and we can kiss goodbye to most of our A-list of potential signings too.

Absolutely livid

I won't be surprised if they surprise us but then again, I won't be surprised if they don't.
A surprising attitude one might say !

I think the fact Pep is coming will be enough to get the top players to stay, they know he will be bringing players in and with luck they will be up for the fight and will want to get the team to the top again.

Whenever City play someone half-decent, they lose. And they even lose a few against teams that are not even half decent. Great lines ,a perfect brief about city performance this season.
