Although the English summer transfer window has now slammed shut, the European window remains open until the beginning of September, and I guess as a consequence of Wesley immediately replacing Jonathan Kodjia in head coach Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side for the opening day Tottenham Hotspur clash, he continues to be linked with a move away this month.

It seems Kodjia is now gone to some rather odd club I've never heard of. What I refuse to entertain though is any notion of a shit player who now ranks amogst your Penrices and Whittinghams. He kept us from dropping another division, filled in admirably when Tammy was out and were it not for injury he would have contributed so much more.

He deserves our best and from me he will bloody get it. Godspeed Jimmy Danger.
