The Holistic Days Are Numbered And The Players Know It

We will well remember the time we heavily debated on here how the coup to replace Mancio played out and how certain squad members got way too cosy with the hacks who increasingly referred to the then gaffers aggressive approach that the players disliked.

As we watch a nice guy tell us each week now how many points are left to play for and his team fail to get results it is interesting to see now that the club are bringing in a bloke whose uber-discipline hardline is renowned. In short, tougher than Mancini and zero tolerant.

Our performances this season show our players don't like it up ´em and a number of them know they will have to work a damned sight harder from 1st July.

He will be not impressed if we lose out on CL football either.

Too fed up to even think about those over paid, under performing ******* (with a couple of exceptions)

Guardiola may be more hardline than Mancini but he won't air his dirty laundry in public. That was the main problem, Mancini was calling out not only his players in public but also his workmates as he wrestled for complete control of the club.

It was this that obviously pissed Mansour and Khaldoon off which is understandable when you consider the importance of image in this 'project'. The term holistic was used by Soriano simply to portray that what was wanted at the club was everyone being on the same page, pulling in the same direction instead of people undermining each other and stabbing each other in the back.

Well played, Kenny.

According to sources, Pep threatened to castrate the players if they failed to advance against Juventus during his halftime speech.

I think the exodus won't happen until after the Euros, when every player will have their value tripled based on four games.

And speaking of Euros, Copa America is once again this summer, as it's the 100th anniversary of COMNEBOL. So, our Argentinians will be playing in 80F heat for 5 or 6 games, our Europeans will be playing in 75F heat for 5 or 6 games, and then we all need to reconvene for a Champions Leauge play-off in August. Fun.
