Morning all . Another good victory .
With the new “correct score prediction “ taking effect ,,the lead at the top is growing . SursEagle should be considering becoming a professional predictor , another correct score last night leaves most of us trailing in his wake . Well done SE..

When SE posts his score I'm going to use it to put a correct score on with the bookies.

SE increased his lead by one point . Gary predicted a correct score .
Sadly I had to disallow the posts from Spesh and Meee as they were over the time limit. having not allowed posts last week , I have to now be fair to everyone and keep to my own rules . Spesh predicted a correct score as well . Sorry ,

Total decided to put two predictions on the thread , so I took the lastone he posted. which was we would lose 2-3 .
Spesh didn’t nominate any scorers .

Stupops decided to predict we would win and lose on the same post , only needed to predict a draw for a full set ,sorry mate couldn't accept that prediction.

Hi all ,
As Pompey pointed out I had robbed him of two points on the last league , it occurred to me that I had not applied the the Goal Difference Bonus ,
So , Pompey, Smithy , Greavsie ,Vinnie, SJM, Spurs 54, Spesh, Steve P, Sheringham, and myself have all had the two points put back on.

there were some amazing predictions last night ,, USAF , and Pompey both posted identical forecasts and earned twenty one points each , correct half time and full time and two of the scorers .
Spesh got both scores correct, and a few thought we would concede one goal which spoiled their prediction .
Who would have thought we would have played a sixteen year old striker in a European game .

Walt, I also predicted 4-0 and 2-0 at half time. And 2 correct scorers - Moura and Vini. You've given me 16 points. Shouldn't it be 21 as USAF and Pompey?

New leader this week . The mighty SpursEagle has been caught and overtaken by the Gods .
Gary has gone one point clear at the top , despite my best efforts to knobble him last week .
I put his points back , that he should have had , and he was one of seven that predicted a draw . Pretty impressive , . The other six were Smithy , Greavsie, Ex, Spurs ‘54, Meee, and XVausch .
Nobody had the correct score .
As we didn’t have any goalscorers ,the only points available were for the correct outcome and correct goal difference .

Hi sorry I’m a bit late , very hectic at home at the moment .

VAR has been in action , this obviously stands for the
Vital Adjustment Rule .
There have been a few late predictions that have come to my attention .. some have been allowed and some haven’t .
I have therefore had to make a decision to create a fair and level playing field .
Gary was late last week , and the points were awarded to him which took him to the top .
I hadn’t noticed at the time , I had other things on my mind , so I let it go for a while .
Others have been penalised in the past .
In order to be fair , I have decided to not to deduct Gary’s points as I don’t think he gained any advantage , or intended to .
Similarly, Spesh , and Meee , ( WBA away ) and Ravenskane and Muttley ( Brighton away ). also didn’t intend to gain any advantage .
Therefore I am reinstating :
Spesh .............. 9 points
Meee.................3 points
Ravenskane......6 points
Muttley .............2 points .
For the Brighton game , Vinnie posted after the teams had been announced so I’m not allowing that .

XVausch also posted after the teams had been announced ., but didn’t score any points in his prediction anyway .

Whilst I am in VAR mode , I am reinstating the point I deducted from Nick for predicting we would lose six nil at home to the chavs .

But at the same time I am deducting one point from Harry for daring to think we would lose to the goons .... and by Five goals to Nil . Unbelievable !

Going forward , I am NOT going to allow late posts , after the two hour before kick off time , without a genuine reason and a request for my home address where the bottle of gold watch can can be sent .
A genuine reason does not include retrieving your favourite Aunts budgie from the vets !

If you do post late , without a genuine reason , posted on the prediction thread , then not only will I not take your score , I will deduct two points . .
No posts will be considered , with or without a reason , AFTER the teams have been announced .
I will still take a change of scorers right up to kick off time .
That's the only way I can see it being fair to everyone .

Are you sure I was late Walt? I thought I had the score in well on time but changed the goal scorers as per the rules.
