I've no doubt that these people were under an awful lot pf pressure at the time, and were doing a very difficult job in stressful circumstances ... but as it's now coming out that they were NOT always following the science, I think we've every right to now be a little miffed.
I remember thinking at the time that I thought Hancock seemed to be trying his best !
I wonder why the government aren't willing to make it a criminal offence to lie to Parliament?
