Yep….takes some believing. Can you imagine the likes of Spurs or Chelsea getting to the semi final, the only English team left…and not mentioning them at all. Simply wouldn’t happen.

Always a reliable player. Shame about his injury but I always thought it odd we didn't try to see if he could play for us again and just let his contract run down. He ended up back at PSV, won a couple of titles and even got back into the Dutch squad.
