Mexican Sergio Perez has signed to race for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen next year.
The 30-year-old, who took his maiden win in the Sakhir Grand Prix, replaces British-Thai Alex Albon, who will stay with the team as reserve driver.

Meh, I'd like a clean run for Hamilton to get the 8th title, and beat Schumacher, then they can do what they want!!!!

I think they will. One more season for Bottas and if he doesn't step up, he'll be gone. Although were Hamilton to win number 8 next season, maybe he'd be the one standing down and Russell would take his seat?
And I'm pleased for Perez. Albon has time on his side but has been unconvincing in the same car as Max Verstappen. Having an experienced teammate like Perez will do Max the power of good with some genuine competition and they might just make inroads into the Merc stranglehold.

Red Bull are set up for Verstappen. Perez will have the same issues as Gasly and Albon unless Red Bull change.

In two minds, but probably should do an honours thread I guess! lol But, he is outstanding, but then... hasn't he been well (very well) rewarded? His success = money, trophies, etc.
The F1 pundits were saying Murray Walker should also get one.
Again. Why? He's done his job, he's done it well, he's been well rewarded, had an excellent and interesting professional life.
