The FA Cup and the League

It's possible. And I think we are capable.

A double from nowhere.

One step at a time! Haha. I'd hate for this season to end with nothing, so any kind of silverware would be amazing.

The "*****" winning side of 16/17. Let's make it so - this side really needs something to etch it in the history of the club.

The FA cup should still be our number one target here.

It's in our own hands to win it and we don't want to lose then drop points against palace or ars*nal and that's the season done.

Sky Bet had it at 9/2 this morning. I'd take the 2. If we were 4 up on them with the remaining fixtures reversed, I'd make it 20/1 in our favor.

Adding what is somewhat OT, but this season has FAR surpassed my expectations. Certainly they were influenced by world-weariness and the disappointments of the past, as well as feeling underwhelmed by the signing of Sissoko and my main concern last fall, being the reliance on Harry. I actually expected Janssen to do a bit better, but not to have contributed much in his first season in this league.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the flexibility (the 3 at the back approach with wing backs wasn't something I expected Poch to incorporate as an option), the overall toll of injuries, and the production of goals from others aside from Kane. I never saw the excellence of this defense coming. Truly incredible. We can all nitpick breakdowns, but it's just silly to say that this defense hasn't been immense overall. And just when I start to slag Son, as an example, he starts kicking them in.

This is really a year to continue to build from, come what may. We have no reason to believe that winning out is out of the question, it's simply a tall order and against the odds. If we can lift something it'll be a bigger success than I dreamed.

Believe me when I say this is our most important game of the season, win it and we will role over Palace and the gooners.
God help Palace if Southampton take a point of Chelski on top of our win on Saturday, this really could be a season defining game.

^ Vibrating with excitement. :4:

...and what about the football? :2:

Nice to see you're back on it. NRD was a useful late game sub but you definitely need to start. :39:
