The Ezri Konsa Thread

Aside from the defensive part of the game, I don’t think our centre backs contributed enough in terms of goals for the team.
8 goals apiece in 200 games over 7 seasons, hardly worth sending them up for a set piece, we've probably conceded that from breakaways at set pieces.
Neither of them is dominant in the air; they are more there for nuisance value than danger.
Just checked, Pau has 2 for us in 53 PL games and 10 in 136 La Liga games, so similar if not slightly better than the other two

I love Ezri.
I'd love him more if he wasn't such a fanny blanket going down with the slightest breath on him when bringing the ball out
But I digress, our best and most cultured defender, hands down ( which incidentally will stop daft penalties)

I remember Brentford fans laughing and saying we'd spent 12m on their 4th choice CB when he arrived. One of our best signings of the Premier league era.

I’d been critical of him for some time and wanted to see more. Now he has hit another level and I like it very much. His self belief is overflowing. Well done Ezri!

Brilliant today to the point where the absolute best centre forward in the world was marginalised for most of the game.

He's one of several players who just need a trophy to seal the legend status for me.

Watch the rumours start now as journo's finally wake up.
You can’t have a regular starter for England that plays for Villa can you. Wonder when we will have the ‘Arsenal’ fan BS and then the £21.3m bid? Or the Spurs are watching and can offer CL, even tho they are shyte.
