Konsa is far better than Maguire, but Southgate probably knew if he brought him on and proved that then he'd have to drop his lovechild Maguire.
Konsa can still declare for Portugal, if they want him then he needs to go for it. Amazing team who play great attacking football and have a space in defence because 40 year old Pepe is still being called up for them and Toti Gomes from Wolves who is bang average. Hopefully he gives it some serious thought because Southgate is a w*nker and he doesn't want to play for him.
