The Ezri Konsa Thread

He really does make defending look easy at times, played really well today. A bargain at 12 million, better defender than torres. His passing has improved in leaps and bounds

Fatty kicked out at him apparently. He was the lucky one.
They both could have gone tbh. Good job Konsa walked away. He didn't deserve it but with that ref booking our players for trivia and letting them get away with numerous bookings I was worried

He's looking better on the ball playing with Torres and he's really stepping out as a leader in Mings' absence. Really keen to see how this partnership develops.

Also Konsa absolutely has to be in the England squad but based on the look on Southgate's face he's probably thinking of reasons to not select him.

I think it would do konsa more good not being in southgates turd squad. He will learn more training under emery than sat on southgates bench.

I would prefer it if none of our players got in the England squad given they'll have Beaky and his team of clowns coaching all the football out of them.

Beaky is so out of touch he probably thinks he's Pourtuquse due to his father's country of birth.

I thought he was going to walk for grabbing that bloke by the throat, with that one-eyed ref but Phew!

I thought the ref would be desperate to send one of ours off, and I did think there was a chance he could've picked up a second yellow for that. He was also squaring up to Joao Pedro at the final whistle.

I'm a big fan of the toughened up Konsa. I remember a time when he seemed quite timid on the pitch, not now. The game today was physical and bit a moody at times, and he's the first to give it back.

He's been back to his best lately, and when he's like this he's extremely underrated as he allows the likes of Torres to take more risks whether that's passing or venturing forward, and he'll cover for those being out of position.

He's a strange player in that when he plays badly you notice, but when he's playing well you don't really notice him as much.
