I actually came on this thread today to say how disappointed I am with the overall standard of football on display so far in this competition, with very few exceptions.

Exactly echoed my thoughts on how the Euros has been so far. Mostly uninspiring matches.

I struggle to watch anything as a neutral, I quickly get bored but in saying that I find watching a film all the way through hard as well, it has to be really good to keep my attention for 90 mins.
Yet watching Villa I watch players on the ball, off the ball, the warm-ups I'm in the ground over an hour before KO absolutely love it, suck in the atmosphere which of course you don't get on TV

Utterly pointless and totally unnecessary - but I do like it.

I just hope Belgium aren't about to take a shot or score when they've planned to do this as that would be a real tribute.

Belgium will pay tribute to Christian Eriksen by kicking the ball out of play in the 10th minute of their Euro 2020 Group B encounter with Denmark on Thursday.

What happened was awful, and like everyone i was shocked and hoping Eriksen pulls through.

But kicking the ball out during play? I just find that a bit odd. For all the shit that goes on in the world and these freak incidents, I don’t want to see the game disrupted by the players.

Perhaps general consensus will mean I’m wrong here, but I don’t get it. Clap for him before the game, fans get clapping on ten minutes, but I don’t like to see the integrity of the game spoiled.

Oh FFS pass the fucking bucket! Really , I mean come on get a fucking grip.

Denmark's Christian Eriksen will be fitted with a heart-starting device following his collapse on the pitch during Euro 2020.

The 29-year-old midfielder suffered cardiac arrest in his side's defeat by Finland in Copenhagen on Saturday.
The ICD - implantable cardioverter defibrillator - is "necessary due to rhythm disturbances", Danish team doctor Morten Boesen said.
