It is not over yet, but on Saturday the title was not in City's hands, on Sunday around 6.30ish it is nowThe rags and Dippers each have a dedicated thread of their own ……about time The Entitled Ones had their own.
How are the entitled Arsenal fans feeling this afternoon?
we always seemed to play catch-up this season and got the rough end of some questionable schedulingWhere are all the "Pressure is on Arsenal" headlines?
Whenever City top the table the "pressure" is on us to stay there - whenever we're not on the top it's on is to "catch the leaders".
I refuse to beleive that this is just a coincidence. I know ‘he who pays the piper calls the tune’ but I do think they stretch this to the limit scheduling games to try to generate as much false ‘tension’ as possible and extend the talking points across the WHOLE of the weekend from Friday to Monday….we always seemed to play catch-up this season and got the rough end of some questionable scheduling
They can't keep on adding games and more tournamentsI refuse to beleive that this is just a coincidence. His comments are hard to take, what a fucin hypocrit.
As one of the worst offenders in his reaction to decisions he doesn’t like (basically ANY decision which doesn’t go his way) and as the man in charge of a team composed of serial divers, fakers of injury and constantly surrounding the referees when they don’t get decisions in their favour this is rich.
The hypocrisy is stunning.
'It damages our game' - Arteta condemns Oliver abuse https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c0qw7kl5147o
I think Oliver got it right, it was high.Although they were successful is appealing the red card, because of the abuse directed at Michael Oliver are unwarranted and his family have had to resort to police protection. I would have denied the appeal on the grounds that abuse of the Referee are not to be tolerated, and thrown the blame back at Arsenal's supporters and punished the club accordingly
The astonishment of the MotD crew pundits in decrying the decision is part of the problem. The foul was deliberate. Perhaps if more players were sent off for similar ‘taking one for the team’ fouls then they might stop committing them and teams that want to play football might get more opportunity. Instead of justifying the complaints they should advocate for fewer ‘good’ fouls and praise the referee for punishing the team that decides it can use such tactics with impugnity.I think Oliver got it right, it was high.
sadly the appeal panel did not back Oliver and they should have, it was deliberate and it was high and deserved a redI think Oliver got it right, it was high.
That should more, I think Ashley Young has been approached to be their diving Coach his motto " Dive with Style" "Hoodwink the ref with an added twist with pike"Apparently Lewis-Skelly's red card on Saturday was the 20th awarded against The Entitled Ones under Twateta.
More than any other club in the league.
Speaks volumes doesn't it?
Leopards and their spots eh? He’s always been a diving cheat ……but it would have sweet & ironic had he pulled it off against the club for whom he hit the turf so often before. That should more, I think Ashley Young has been approached to be their diving Coach his motto " Dive with Style" "Hoodwink the ref with an added twist with pike"
