The Emirates FA Cup Third Round Draw Thread

Personally at this stage I prefer decent but beatable opposition at home to give us the chance to progress further in the competition - saving the big payday for a round (or two) later. As long as we win it of course!

Yes me too. Want to get as far in as we can and draw a PL big payday away game.

Based on the draw for the 1st 2 rounds we have to play a club associated with Keith Curle. So Man City, Wolves or Sheffield United would all be fine.

7.30pm on BBC1, the draw should start around 7.40pm (i.e. after the host has conducted some banal chatter with the Woking manager).

Just there are not too many Premier teams drawn against each other, seeding may produce more interesting / exciting games and revive interest a bit in the FA Cup, it certainly needs it. UTI.

Worthy of note that we are one of only three League Two clubs definitely through - incredibly, one of the others is Grimsby.

I would expect Tranmere and Newport to join us after replays, though.

Would like ALL Prem teams drawn against each other so ten get knocked out...
Keep repeating that and we can have a run to the semis ?

I see where you are coming from. However, the way the FA Cup is drawn is its ethos and history.

The only slight change I would make is to return to regionalised draws for the 1st and 2nd rounds.
