On the subject of televised matches. The 1st round replays selected for Tv are surprisingly: Oxford City v Tranmere and Salford City v Shrewsbury.
Honestly didn't know Salford had made it to the first round, I'm sure I didn't see their game on TV!

The last time I went to Bloomfield Road in '99, tucked away on what was left of their spion kop was no great treat either. The only bright spot was a very rare away that season.

A: Graham Taylor, in 1975-76; what happened that season? We won the Fourth Division (ever so slightly). Like omens?
