Well it amused me for a while anyway.
 
I know it's meant to be funny, but I stopped reading after the bit at the start about the Antarctic being controlled by the Military. I nearly went on holiday there a few years back. It wasn't hard to sort out!!!!!
 
The scary thing is Bob, I really don't think it is meant to be funny, these people actually belive it and try to argue the science, check out the comments.

I'd love to know GT's thoughts on this.

Is your name really Galileo VOTN? :17: I really had to Google this to see if people really do believe it and they do. When I think nothing else can surprise me..............

I know this is a joke to everybody but just take a step back and then realise what we all think we know about this life we am born into is fed to us drip by drip by media and companies producing photo's etc saying ''this is this and that is that'' is it impossible that there is things in this life which we take for granted they am like isn't the truth and information is hidden for a reason from everyone? I don't trust NASA nor any government nor any TV media news stations telling me what to think i always keep an open mind cos the bs spouted in the media today is obvious, who knows

Skepcism is healthy Clive but paranoia is not. In this particular case you can observe many of the proofs of the Earth being a globe for yourself. These folk are genuine tin-foil hat wearers.

Talking of which, last week I genuinely met a real life tin-foil hat wearer, a loveley lady but clearly as mad as a box of frogs.

To be fair, as VOTN says, skepticism is good and indeed healthy and no, people shouldn't toe the line... however some things just clearly are true unless the photos of earth from space for instance are just made up?!

I agree on the media feeding us the story they want to, but you know many of us here go beyond that.

When you were taught Science at school, you were encouraged to think for yourself, and experiment to see for yourself what happens. Did you fall asleep during these lessons?
