Johnny Evans has a relegation release clause of £3million BUT his agent wants £4million for sealing the deal!

Don’t understand why ALL agent’s fees aren’t banned in transfer deals. If a player needs an agent to sort out a change of employer, then any fee comes out of his wages/signing on fee. We’ve got all the top Premier League players already earning 6 figure salaries per week, with hefty 5 figure sums for everyone else. They can afford whatever the greedy leeches want to take off them for their services. No way should more money be going out of the game when 90% is already going into players’ pockets.

It’s so simple and so obvious yet FIFA do naff all.
 
There needs to be some proper regulation on this from the highest level but as FIFA and UEFA let alone our own FA are only interested in lining their own pockets they won't do a thing about this

Are we not allowed to talk football in general on here ? I expect you will delete all world cup and cricket threads? I doubt it though because you havent in the past!
Agents are sadly part and parcel of football which i believe Lincoln City play and therefore could be involved with!
 
The crazy part is the FA considering selling Wembley to fund grass roots football, while the premier league get £2.5 billion in prize money to pay reserve team and under 21 footballers tens of thousands of pounds a week.
 
Even more crazy.... Huddersfield manager David Wagner has had his salary doubled to £100,000 a week! Yes, Huddersfield Town's boss will now be picking up 100,000 big ones PER WEEK! That's over £5m a year!

I was reliably informed at work today that Sanchez receives a £75000 appearance bonus every time he steps on the pitch seems crazy but with the Premier League you never know!!!

Why is that crazy? He got them promoted and, against the odds, kept them in the Premier league, with all the riches that brings. Unlike the players, a manager is easily sacked if things go wrong. Only right they should have a decent piece of the pie if he helps to earn the money for the club

Crazy from the fact that it was only a few years ago that they were playing us in the league. Could you imagine a Lincoln manage getting paid £100,000 a week?

Well I can imagine a couple but that may be stretching the fairytale a smidge too far.
 
Some of the reasons I refuse to feed the bloated belly that is the premier league gluttony bucket by paying a Sky subscription.
