Blimey I need a strong coffee. I never expected JF to start the Christmas thread :17: :180: :180: :180:

What's everyone doing for xmas this year then?

We've got my mom, sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew coming over to ours xmas day, so I will be cooking again. Loved hosting last year, but wont be making the same mistake of spending a shot load this time. They aren't heading over till late afternoon, so wont be having dinner till 4ish, so wont have to buy loads of extra food for the night this time... plus my mom has kindly offered to buy the turkey :-)

Just need to convince Nat to let me have a forerib of beef again to go alongside the turkey as that went down really well last year but aint too cheap.

Looking forward to it.

Meal out with parents as a duty... so place called the Red Lion.

Then home.

Gym in the afternoon, shoulder day as it is a Thursday.

Red Lion in Alvechurch?

You should go to the Dilshad after for pudding. :-)

Gym on Xmas Day?!? You'd better be joking! I will block your garage with snowmen!!!

Going over to Aston Fields in Bromsgrove with all the mob for a slap up feast, stopping over night, then I`m on breakfast duty in the morning.
Lots of food, drink, playing of games and laughing.
Sounds just like a Villa match. :21:

14 of us at my Mom and Dads . My wife cooks all the potatoes & veggies etc and my sister does the starters , so all my mom has to do is cook the meat.

Then we all come back to ours for tea (buffet) drink , games and telly.

Why would he be joking? What's wrong with that? You are a strange one Deano!

Can't figure them out, can you Juan, you mean it isn't usual to train on Xmas day? :10:

I did last year, then watched a film, bed... sorted.

Yes, Alvechurch deano, I could honestly, very easily do nothing, but whilst my lovely parents are alive and kicking, I'm happy to fit in and go through the motions, afterall they gave me beautiful memories throughout my childhood, least I can do is be nice with them around this time of year.

They have Xmas eve at mine, some food, film, low key but always nice.

Xmas day, meal... sometimes they come round on the evening.

That's me done then!

I always get up early and go for a nice long run on Boxing Day morning. So quiet and peaceful , no traffic , nothing.

A site to warm Mr Fear's heart (he does have a heart, right?)

.

My sentiments exactly, Fear.
I'll start my descent into the maelstrom that is called Christmas no earlier than 1st December.
