Apologies if anyone's spotted this already, but I just noticed we avoided relegation by beating Huddersfield.

With 7 games to go and 21 points to play for, that's an achievement. You could draw a line above Charlton: teams who can't finish above us. (One or two below them with games in hand could still stay above the line for a game or two).

Any decent run-in will see the line climb the table; when it climbs above Derby and Preston we've made the playoffs.

Playing potential rivals is going to make the next few games nerve-racking, but it does give Forest the chance to write their own script and make sure they get there.

Now people understand why Barnsley didnt want the season to finish during Covid... they r going to sneak relegation ... another great escape ... a draw tomorrow will be a good result... Brizzle kept at bay ( probably ending their play off hopes) ... with very game that passes away another team of the play off contenders to drop out of the race ...hopefully the weekend will be Derbys turn ....

That's loser talk!

Wigan are putting together a nice little run; 8 games unbeaten, winning 5 of them, and currently 1 up against Stoke.

They still have to play Brentford and Fulham

Beat Bristol City, and hopefully a draw between the sheep and Preston and we are looking well placed for the PO's

They played well against Fulham, not great so far tonight. Both the leaders trying to leave the door open, us and Brentford steal both autos would be amusing.
