The Championship season 2024-25

A real case of the emperor's new cloths with Rohl. No good scoring five against Grimsby if you can't score in three consecutive Championship games. Sounds like Millwall are having their way with them.

Mateo Joseph's first goal for Leeds. He'll develop into an elite player and if he clicks should score 15+ goals. Leeds looking good unfortunately.

Big Jake Cooper with a third. 😂

Listening to a report on the Southampton Brentford game, "Cameron Archer's come on and looks absolutely lost". Carrying on where he left off then.

Leeds have enough to get into the top 2, especially now we've withdrawn from the race.

Solomon is a very good signing. They've kept enough of their quality. Like last season though, they're still lacking a proper number 10, and don't have a reliable CF.

Burnley stuttering again is a bit encouraging but they'll be fine. They've made good signings in the last week, as you would do if you were a club wanting to get promoted. Once Cullen is back in the team they'll click again.
I've taken advantage of their little blip and lumped on them for a top 6 finish at 1.57. I don't see how they fail. Even with Parker.

Sunderland have started well. I think they might regret selling Clarke, because he might have been the extra bit they need in a season where a top 2 spot could well be up for grabs. Ipswich will have inspired a lot of clubs.

Another Ivo the Terrible horror show.

Glued to his line again for the first two and then it's game over. Cooper is an upgrade on this flop in all departments.

Gabriel Sara ran the show, I don't know why a PL club didn't pick him up. Wonderful player. I do wonder if he's the Norwich player we enquired about last year.

Sara should be in a better league.

As for Osimhen, what the hell has happened there? I put it down to the combined volatility of both Napoli and your typical Nigerian footballer.

As for Osimhen, what the hell has happened there? I put it down to the combined volatility of both Napoli and your typical Nigerian footballer.

Volatile owner, De Laurentiis, who's made some strange decisions this past 16 months, an immature Aftrican footballer and a coconut TikTok video A recipe for tantrums, sulks and angry accusations of 'a lack of respect'.

After Napoli's title win Osimhen's people strong armed them into a large wage increase - which a blinged up Osimhen celebrated by doing the raining money thing in the city's nightclubs. Napoli couldn't really afford it but did so with the hope of flogging him in the window just gone after an extra twelve months for his value to increase. But De Laurentis completely fucked up the deals on offer from Chelsea and Al Hilal - and Osimhen ends up in a league with Grbic and Lundstram.

One of the strangest things about that Napoli title win is because of the circumstances he was signed in Kvaratskhelia was on about €5k a week. You couldn't even get a Will Grigg here for that little.

Hull playing the same way they did against us but having too much for a poor and at times dirty Stoke. If Cannon blacked up and was carrying more timber I could be tricked in to thinking he was Brewster.

Millar's the player we should be frustrated we missed out on. Came on at HT and swung the match in Hull's favour. Parts of his game remind me of Keef Gillespie.

And I still don't understand why we let Slater leave for nowt.

I would love to have Slater back in our squad.

Thought at the time it was a very hasty decision to let him go.

And we were nearly begging to get Johannson and Cannon.
True I was gutted when we didn’t get the keeper, now I’m glad we didn’t cooper looks to be a superior upgrade and younger to boot, didn’t know much about cannon just knew we were short up top

Leeds' captain Ethan Ampadu, who may or may not have played for us once, has been ruled out for at least three months with a knee injury.

Big blow for them that. Tanaka replaced him on Saturday and did OK. If one of Struijk or Rodon are unavailable though they're struggling at CB now, they've got the Austrian international Wober but he doesn't want to be there.
