Villa, Boro etc could all say the same. A few shocks at this stage isn't unusual. Yes we were lucky and it could have gone either way but in the larger scheme of things is unimportant. Bigger decisions to be made by AK, and points to pick up. AK's job depends on league and promotion not on a good run in Carabao Cup.
 
As a point of interest. Does anyone know how many of Wigan's first team played on Tuesday in losing at Rochdale?
 
Looking at their league team, they do have 2 big b****centre halves, that we will have to defend against at set pieces. Is Hef ready to start a league game??
