Finished 1-0 to Spain. Very entertaining second half, especially after Spain scored!
 
Spanish, top drawer playing scintillating passing movements......it`s tough to score when a side is defending with so much effort and so many men behind the ball.

Argentina's back five is just so far off being passable. Pretty crazy really, even if they do Houdini through this group you just can't see them keeping out the big guns!
 
The reality is that the World Cup Groups are very weak so Argentina and Germany will probably still go through despite defeats (Argentina still playing at the time of going to press). Italy and Holland will probably think they were in tougher qualifying groups:grinning:

I think they might go. Basically out their hands providing Croatia finish the job. Were Iceland to win tomorrow and have a weakened Croatia in the final game...

Not sure how good Croatia are at the back still, and Mandzukic is a bit rusty as an out an out forward, but it's not fair how good that midfield pair of Rakitic/Modric is.

Croatia are very good. I told you all before the tournament.

Argentina need a Nigeria win or a draw. Goal difference means an Iceland win leaves them in trouble.
 
Just watching the goals back. Incredible how the back four and midfield for Argentina just stood and watched when they gave the ball away.
 
Good game, that.

Feels a weird WC so far in the sense that the underdogs are giving it a right go, even if they aren't getting the results.

Spain and Argentina feel like they're coming to the end of a squad cycle, and if Germany don't buck up their ideas, they'll have that feel as well.
