In the Play-offs. What are yours? (I have a sneaking suspicion that Huddersfield is going to feature) Also, what realistically - imagine you are an outsider looking in, do you think Lincoln can achieve in this year's play-offs.

I'll kick start it.

Best

Ben Futcher's equaliser at Cardiff in 2003 Final. For 10 mins I honestly thought we would win in. To see Lincoln in their first final, in a national stadium was sublime. Lisa Rogers was doing the presentation side of it too. Happy Days.

Worst

A toss up between Bristol Rovers at Sincil Bank and that Huddersfield decision. However losing 3-5 at home, with the tie over after a few minutes...is mine.

This year.

Hmm. I honestly don't know. If all the players can get over their injuries...then I will be a lot happier with our potential. If we somehow manage to get through against Exeter, of whom will be smarting because of last year, then I don't think the story of Coventry is over just yet. Then it will come down to a choice between six and two threes.

Worst - Bristol Rovers at home. Utterly depressing.

Best - the few seconds when we thought Yeo's goal against Southend would stand. Short-lived.

I missed the first playoff run as I was working at Tesco on Wragby Road and couldn't get the time off. I was on the checkouts as we lost to Bournmeouth.

Jeff tongue in cheek are you a doom and gloom merchant or occasionally can you put on a positive post?

Loosing to the cods away! Hobbling back to the car with the black and white barstewards in our faces telling us how great they were and obviously how poo we were! Had to refrained from smacking a few in the face !?

He is a miserable sod! He probably didnt get his foot long hot dog on saturday because of the queues!?

Best. Lincoln 8 Luton 1 bottom of the table and so
unexpected.

Worst. Aldershot at home 0-3, total capitulation by a bunch of cowards.

Okay play offs. Best. Away at Scunny even sweeter after having watched Laws run half of the pitch with that flag.

Worst losing both games to Grimsby.

In order to have the rainbow, you have to have the rain.

Light cannot exist without dark, nor dark without light.

Destroying Luton 8-1 and the cup game v Man City always worth a mention... (off topic or not) :grinning:
Play-offs:
Best beating Scunny home and away was good.
Worst probably Bristol Rovers.

The two Scunny games were amazing!
Worst would be the walloping by Bristol Rovers, start of the slippery slope to the conference that night.

Worst for me was Southend as it felt such a missed opportunity. Losing that game felt like an end of an era (I know he went on a further season but that team was broken up).

Best was Scunny away and shutting up that flag-waving tw8t Laws.

I could be wrong but I think ‘that’ decision was in the league. I think you referring to the offside goal, when the linesmen flagged, we stopped the Huddersfield striker stuck it in the goal and then the ref gave it. I remember saying to my dad ‘if that decision costs us a place in the playoffs...’. Unless there was another bad decision?

Anyway for me the best was when Yeo confirmed our place in the final against scunny the first time round.

The worst was the expectant feeling of failure going into the playoffs against Bristol rovers. Especially as we didn’t go in to the playoffs with great form.
