John Stones was dreadful for Slovakia's goal.

Several teams have gotten extremely close. We just haven't played anyone good yet. Everyone half decent (Denmark and Slovakia) have scored a goal against us.

But I admit the problem is not just Centre half. The fullbacks are shite as well.

Weird about Spain, as on paper they look bang average apart from Rodri. But seeing Yamal, Williams and how they’ve been coached, if I were England I’d phone in sick rather than play them

I appreciate not all young players have his skills but sometimes giving younger players an opportunity, playing with better high level players, makes it easier to adapt than making them play at a lower level chap.
