I got talkin about this at work and mentioned a real favorite of mine: Dear John, who nobody else seems to remember. Was I the only person that watched it?!!!

I remember it Jim, although obviously I am nowhere near as old as you, so it is just a distant memory for me.
 
I remember watching Dear John and even liking it, can visualise the main characters face, though have no recollection what it was about.

My GBH box set arrived yesterday, watched 2 episodes last night. Love it.
 
It was basically about a bloke who's missus left him. He rented a bedsit and went to a one-to-one club and ate a lot of kfc.

It sounds shit I know, but I loved it.

Yeah however these soft gentle comedies were good clean and wholesome, I think.

Why I loved Goodnight Sweetheart so much. Gentle and funny
