Bad Mistakes

Comedy from Daniel Levy (the son of the Dad from American Pie, not the dodgy Spurs ex chairman).

If you liked the TV show 'Schitts Creek' and Narcos you'll probably like this. You'll see what I mean.

Still going through slowly, think I've got as far as S5?

Amazed at the ones I remember almost word for word now, but a few more creeping in that I've no recollection of whatsoever.

No where near as dark, amazing or even 'must watch' as I remember it, but such is life lol

Please tell me the word 'reboot' was accidently typed into the wrong post?????
 
I'm actually watching less telly than ever lately, very little is passing my 10 minute test at the moment.

It was definitely dark and amazing in the 90s, but someone watching it now for the first time would just find it a bit dated id imagine. I still love it though.

Yes, unfortunately there is an upcoming reboot that no one asked for and it will probably be awful.
 
Was definitely boosted by the 'in the moment perfect timing', or posh gits might say it tapped into the zeitgeist. Think anyone joining it new would really enjoy it, but some episodes would really fall flat on their faces now.

More than anything it's let down by the film quality, be interesting to see how a remastered version would look and go over with a new audience, but if they are wankbooting it for no reason they'll be hoping the next gen latch to that.

I would have a horrible feeling that it would flop as it can't have that 'new' novelty in the current sci-fi world, and you think of the likes of Grimm, Humans, MiB and things that followed that could arguably be latched to an episode or two - a reboot is going to become a copy of multiple copies.

I actually like how it looks from this season onwards, but I know what you mean.

I watched a panel thing a few days ago with all the main actors from it, it was hilarious because there was no mediator so they just took questions from the audience and talked shite. Someone asked them if they were going to watch the reboot and only Gillian Anderson answered, the rest of them had a look of "fuck that shit" lol
 
Narcos season 1 done.
I liked it.

Legends ( flix thing with Steve Coogan) first episode.
Shite. Shall not waste my time further.

WW2 narrated by Forrest Gump - Sky History.
Passes the time nicely ( for a not very nice topic).

I love Narcos and actually think Nacros Mexico is better
 
Started watching Cape Fear on Apple TV.

Haven't watched the film but from what I've read it's pretty much a TV remake. The soundtrack is a bit 'epic'.

Annoying that it's one episode a week, but I'd say it's ok at the moment.
 
Tip Toe. Alan Cumming and David Morrissey.

5 parter. A really difficult watch and one of the most disturbing endings to a show I've seen in a while.

Well worth a watch if you like gritty, unfiltered drama.

The film was fantastic, no idea how it has dated as it was way back when but the tv series is a fair stab. Just no one could touch De Niro really
 
Widows Bay

Horror/Comedy about an Island that no one can leave because of a centuries old curse.

Enjoyed this one, and a good watch.
