Yep Moeen gets dropped because he is out of form and instead of going back to his county he decides to have a break. Now I know they play a lot of cricket but sitting on the sidelines is not going to improve his game
 
In county news, craziness at Canterbury - Kent 226 all out first innings, Essex 114 in reply. Then Kent 40 all out and Essex currently 82-5 chasing 153 to win.

I wonder if the pitch inspectors will take an interest in that one?!
 
Great effort by England in the end. I thought the rain delays had hampered our chances, but what a great effort by Archer and Broad and great work to get Australia all out.

Fresh start tomorrow and better weather and hopefully a better performance than we've seen so far from the batsmen. If we can get 350+ over the next day and a half, we'll have an excellent chance.
